LOS ANGELES, June 30 (UPI) — Lindsey Vonn still has feelings for ex-boyfriend Tiger Woods.

The 31-year-old alpine ski racer voiced her love and respect for the 40-year-old pro golfer in an interview Wednesday, more than 13 months after their split.

“[We’re] still in touch,” Vonn told ‘Access Hollywood.’ “I still love him. He’s a great guy and he’s a great father. I have the utmost respect for him.”

“I just wish him the best. We’re still friends, and we’re just two adults that it didn’t work out,” she added of their breakup.

Vonn had shared similar sentiments on the CNN show “Alpine Edge” in November. She and Woods were together three years before splitting in May 2015.

“I loved him and I still love him,” the Olympic gold medalist said at the time. “I had an amazing three years with him.”

“Sometimes things just don’t work out and unfortunately, it didn’t work out for us,” she reflected. “But I don’t have any regrets and I think we’re both in a pretty good place.”

Vonn is instead focused “on skiing and [her] career now,” according to a tweet she posted Thursday. She recently told USA Today she’s “training well” and expressed her desire to one day compete against men.

“When I train against men, I always find that I push myself harder to my absolute maximum. I want to see what I’m capable of, and men’s racing is the next level,” the star said. “It’s something I hope I can do before the end of my career.”

Vonn expects to compete in the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang, South Korea. She last appeared in the 2010 Winter Olympics, winning the gold medal in women’s downhill skiing.
