LOS ANGELES, Aug. 24 (UPI) — Megan Fox may pay Brian Austin Green spousal support following their divorce.
The 29-year-old actress filed to end her marriage to the 42-year-old actor last week, and TMZ reports Green “will almost certainly” receive significant spousal support due to the former couple’s income disparity and his rumored inability to work.
Fox and Green were hit head-on by a drunk driver in December 2014, but appeared to be unharmed at the time. The incident, however, allegedly triggered vertigo for the actor, and sources say the condition is so crippling he can’t get out of bed.
The former couple met on the set of “Hope & Faith” in 2004, and married in June 2010. The pair share two sons, 2-year-old Noah and 18-month-old Bodhi, and Green is also father to 13-year-old son Kassius with actress Vanessa Marcil.
“She was overwhelmed with the children and her husband’s expectations, which got in the way of work responsibilities,” an insider told People of the split. “They had many disagreements and arguments about her time at home, which led to problems.”
Fox last appeared in “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles”, and is scheduled for the movie’s sequel and “Zeroville” with James Franco. Green is known for playing David Silver on “Beverly Hills, 90210”, Keith Watson on “Desperate Housewives” and Sean Healy on “Anger Management”.
