Miranda Lambert, Little Big Town, Keith Urban up for multiple CMA Awards

Sept. 4 (UPI) — Garth BrooksLuke Bryan, Eric Church, Chris Stapleton and Keith Urban were nominated for the CMA Entertainer of the Year Award Monday.

The nominees for Female Vocalist of the Year are Kelsea Ballerini, Miranda LambertReba McEntire, Maren Morris and Carrie Underwood.

Shortlisted for Male Vocalist of the Year are Dierks Bentley, Eric Church, Thomas Rhett, Chris Stapleton and Keith Urban.

Up for Vocal Group of the Year are Lady Antebellum, Little Big Town, Old Dominion, Rascal Flatts and Zac Brown Band.

In the running for Vocal Duo of the Year are Maddie & Tae, LOCASH, Florida Georgia Line, Dan + Shay and Brothers Osborne.

The nominees for Single of the Year are “Better Man” by Little Big Town, “Blue Ain’t Your Color” by Keith Urban, “Body Like a Back Road” by Sam Hunt, “Dirt on My Boots” by Jon Pardi and “Tin Man” by Miranda Lambert.

The Album of the Year contenders are The Breaker by Little Big Town, From A Room: Volume 1 by Chris Stapleton, Heart Break by Lady Antebellum, The Nashville Sound by Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit, and The Weight of These Wings by Miranda Lambert.

Carrie Underwood and Brad Paisley are set to host the Country Music Association Awards ceremony for a 10th, consecutive year on ABC Nov. 8.
