Based on the classic Victorian novel by Thomas Hardy, “Far From the Madding Crowd” focuses independent, beautiful and headstrong Bathsheba Everdene, who attracts three very different suitors.
This timeless story of Bathsheba’s choices and passions explores the nature of relationships and love, as well as the human ability to overcome hardships through resilience and perseverance
Carey Mulligan takes on the role of Bathsheba perfectly. Mulligan gives us a truly three dimensional character.
“Far From the Madding Crowd” is a wonderfully romantic and passionate film, that takes its time.
It gets a B+ and is rated PG-13

The Avengers assemble once again to save the world from an experiment gone wrong in Tony Stark’s lab.
The film, under the direction of Joss Whedon, gives us more of everything, upping the ante for any of the future films. We also get to see more of the relationships and associations between the superheroes.
Even the wicked Ultron, has a very engaging personality making him a very likable villain.
The film successfully balances action and humor with great special effects and storytelling to give you one of the best times you’ll have at the movies.
“Avengers: Age of Ultron” gets an A and is rated PG-13.
