In the film Pepper Busbee, an eight-year-old boy, is willing to do whatever it takes to end World War II so his father can come home.

“Little Boy” is one of those rare films exploring the relationship between a father and son. “Little Boy” offers up an emotional and well-constructed story about love and faith and belief.

The film boasts a wonderful cast including, Emily Watson, Tom Wilkinson and Kevin James. At the heart of the film are actors Michael Rapaport as the dad and Jakob Salvati as “Pepper” also known as “Little Boy.”

“Little Boy” is a feel good movie, unashamed to tug at your heartstrings. It gets a B+ and is rated PG-13

Russell Crowe is calling the shots for his new film “The Water Diviner.”

The story takes place in 1915, as an Australian farmer travels to Turkey to find his three missing sons who were killed in the battle of Gallipoli.

“The Water Diviner” offers up a compelling story, great characters and inspired cinematography as Crowe’s character relentlessly searches the battlefield for answers to his questions and a resolution to his sadness.

“The Water Diviner” gets an A and is rated PG-13

Blake Lively stars as a woman who doesn’t age in the new romantic fantasy “The Age of Adaline.”

“Adaline” is a captivating film revolving around a woman who will remain physically 29 forever. But trapped in that youthful exterior is the all the wisdom and experiences of a woman who has seen a century of life.

Simply put, “The Age of Adaline” is a wonderful film and deserves a B+. It’s rated PG-13
