LOS ANGELES, Sept. 1 (UPI) — Naomi Watts is trying to determine what is a nightmare and what is real in the first trailer for upcoming psychological thriller, “Shut In.”

The clip released Wednesday, features Watts as a widowed child psychologist living in rural New England who is taking care of her paralyzed son played by “Stranger Things” alum Charlie Heaton.

Things start to get weird once she takes on a new client played by Jacob Tremblay of “Room” fame, who suddenly disappears in the middle of the night.

Now as she rushes to find her patient, Watts begins having nightmares and wonders if she is being haunted by the boy. “Something is going on and it’s not just in my head. I can prove it. You have to believe me,” she explains to a fellow doctor played by Oliver Platt.

Directed by Farren Blackburn, “Shut In” arrives in theaters Nov. 11.
