Jan. 21 (UPI) — Netflix announced the premiere date for Season 5 of their hit political drama “House of Cards” on Friday, Inauguration Day.

“We make the terror,” the streaming service noted on Twitter alongside a teaser video that reveals the date of May 30.

The clip features an eerie rendition of the Pledge of Allegiance recited by a group of children as an upside down American flag is seen waving in the wind.

The caption refers to the final moments of Season 4 as President Frank Underwood (Kevin Spacey) and First Lady Claire (Robin Wright) dealt with a terrorist situation.

The scene ended with Wright breaking the fourth wall on the series for the first time, something Spacey’s character has done from the start.

Season 5 is under the guidance of new co-showrunners Melissa James Gibson and Frank Pugliese who replace departing showrunner Beau Willimon.
