New Kids on the Block, Boyz II Men, Paula Abdul announce 2017 tour

NEW YORK, Nov. 15 (UPI) — New Kids on the Block announced that they and fellow ’80s superstars Boyz II Men and Paula Abdul will embark on the Total Package Tour which kicks off in May.

NKOTB appeared on “Today” on Tuesday to make the announcement, and were joined by surprise guests Abdul and Boyz II Men.

“We’re announcing a new tour,” NKOTB’s Donnie Wahlberg said, “but we’re not going alone.”

Wahlberg also announced that the joint tour will be the first for Abul in more than 20 years.

“Today” host Matt Lauer noted that between the three acts there were more than 200 million albums sold.

Tickets for the 2017 shows go on sale Saturday.

“We’re bringing happy back,” Wahlberg said.
