LOS ANGELES, July 21 (UPI) — Nicollette Sheridan is headed for divorce following a quiet wedding.
The 52-year-old English actress filed to end her marriage to actor Aaron Phypers just six months after their secret wedding, news outlets reported Wednesday.
Legal documents obtained by TMZ reveal Sheridan and Phypers separated a month ago. Sheridan is asking the judge to reject any requests Phypers may make for spousal support.
Sheridan was previously wed to actor and “Deceptions” co-star Harry Hamlin from 1991 to 1992. She later dated singer Michael Bolton, but the couple called off their engagement in 2008.
“I wouldn’t bet on more chapters, as much as I think that certain people you’re always going to love,” Bolton said of their on-again, off-again status on “Access Hollywood” in 2013. “That relationship was on and off for 17 years.”
Sheridan is best known for playing Edie Britt on the ABC series “Desperate Housewives.” She has since appeared in several television movies and will next star in the TV movie “The Chameleon” with Michael Paré.
