May 10 (UPI) — Nine Inch Nails has announced a new North American tour that begins in September and a new album titled “Bad Witch” that will release on June 22.

The tour, titled Cold and Black and Infinite, kicks off Sept. 13 at the Comerica Theatre in Phoenix before wrapping up Dec. 12 at the Palladium in Los Angeles. Nine Inch Nails will also be traveling to other cities such as Atlanta, New York, Boston, Detroit, Chicago and New Orleans among others.

The concert series will also feature guest performances by The Jesus and Mary Chain.

Tickets will not be available for purchase at first online as Nine Inch Nails wants fans to buy passes at the box office of the shows’ venues to help curb third-party sellers and scalpers. The band’s Physical World pre-sale event will take place at all event locations on May 19 except at the Red Rocks Amphitheatre which will sell tickets on May 20.

“The promise of a world made better by computers and online connectivity has failed us. Particularly when it comes to ticketing. Everything about the process sucks and everyone loses except for the reseller. We’ve decided to try something different that will also likely suck, but in a different way. We’re hoping many of you will be happy with the results, while some may do what they always do and bitch about it,” Nine Inch Nails said on its website about purchasing the tickets in-person.

A limited amount of tickets will be made available for purchase online at a later date that is yet to be announced.

“Bad Witch” will contain six tracks and its available for preorder. The cover of the album features a collection of gothic, black and white images.
