LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA – October 5, 2015 (Gephardt Daily) — Fans of the film “Back to the Future II” can relax… the future is now.
As you may recall in the second film in the ‘BTTF’ trilogy, Marty McFly travels to the futuristic far-off year 2015 (October 21, 2015 to be exact) and all he wants is a Pepsi.
While in the cafe, Mcfly orders a ‘Pepsi Perfect.’
The Pepsi Company has now bottled that futuristic soda to be sold as an incredibly limited edition.
Only 6,500 bottles of ‘Pepsi Perfect’ will be made. Pepsi says the selling price will be $20.15 a bottle.
Pepsi even produced a YouTube ad for ‘Pepsi Perfect, which is just regular Pepsi in a futuristic bottle.
There’s no word on how to get one, but Pepsi says some bottles will be available at the New York Comic Con later this week. The first 1,500 bottles will be available to anyone dressed like Marty McFly.
Experts are saying, with a limit of 6,500 bottles going into production, this is clearly going to be a collector’s item.
