NEW YORK, N.Y., Dec. 28, 2015 (UPI) — Poppy Harlow is doing fine after passing out on-air Monday.

The 33-year-old CNN anchor was reporting on Iraq retaking Ramadi from ISIS when she began to slur her words. She briefly fainted off-camera, but was able to return to the broadcast shortly after.

“For all of you on Twitter, who are asking if I’m OK, thank you so much,” she said later in the program. “I got a little hot and I passed out for a moment.”

Harlow, who is pregnant with her first child by husband Sinisa Babcic, assured fans she and the baby are alright after visiting the hospital following the incident.

“Thank you for all your concern and messages!” she wrote. “I am ok! Passed out briefly and am with the doctor now. So thankful to our amazing CNN team.”

“Update from the hospital — our little girl due this spring is doing just fine,” she later added. “Was a scare but we are both ok. Thank you all so much!”

Harlow joined CNN in 2008, and has also reported for Forbes.com. She announced her pregnancy in November, telling Adweek, “We could not be more thrilled to have a little girl on the way. We feel blessed and are excited for the adventure ahead.”
