Hollywood – November 19, 2015 — (Gephardt Daily) — Dakota Johnson and Rebel Wilson star in “How to Be Single.” The newest trailer is now out.
New York City is full of lonely hearts seeking the right match, and what Alice, Robin, Lucy, Meg, Tom and David all have in common is the need to learn how to be single in a world filled with ever-evolving definitions of love.
Anders Holm (The Mindy Project), Damon Wayans, Jr. (New Girl) and Jake Lacy (The Office) portray some potential suitors, and Nicholas Braun (Sky High), Jason Mantzoukas (The League) and Nick Bateman (The Originals) also have roles.
Christian Ditter is directing, with actress Drew Barrymore as producer. The movie is based on the Liz Tuccillo book of the same name, and was adapted by “He’s Just Not That Into You” writers Marc Silverstein and Abby Kohn.
Dakota Johnson is best known for playing ‘Anastasia Steele’ in “Fifty Shades of Grey,” will be seen next in “A Bigger Splash.”
Rebel Wilson is best known as ‘Fat Amy’ in the “Pitch Perfect” franchise, and will star in “The Brothers Grimsby” along side Sacha Baron Cohen.
The film opens February 12, 2016.
