MEDINA, Minn., Dec. 3, 2015 (Gephardt Daily) — TMZ is reporting rock star Scott Weiland was found dead on his tour bus in Minnesota.
Weiland, 48, was on tour with his band, Scott Weiland & The Wildabouts, and was supposed to play the Medina Ballroom Thursday, but the show was canceled.
A source connected to the band told TMZ Weiland was found on the tour bus around 9 p.m., shortly before the band was to go on.
Weiland, the former lead singer for Stone Temple Pilots and Velvet Revolver, famously battled substance abuse for years.
The cause of his death is under investigation.
