LOS ANGELES, Oct. 15 (UPI) — Former “Charmed” actress Rose McGowan posted a series of tweets, revealing she was raped by a powerful man in Hollywood, whom she did not name.
“a (female) criminal attorney said because I’d done a sex scene in a film I would never win against the studio head. #WhyWomenDontReport,” McGowan tweeted Thursday.
“because it’s been an open secret in Hollywood/Media & they shamed me while adulating my rapist. #WhyWomenDontReport,” the starlet continued.
“Because my ex sold our movie to my rapist for distribution #WhyWomenDontReport,” read another post, which was followed by, “It is time for some [expletive] honesty in this world.”
