LOS ANGELES, Oct. 15 (UPI) — Selena Gomez recently opened up about her sexuality to Pride Source magazine.
The 23-year-old singer and actress discussed her relationship with the LGBT community in an interview for the publication’s latest issue. Gomez revealed she has questioned her orientation, and admitted to “loving” Cara Delevingne dating rumors last year.
“I think everybody [questions their sexuality], no matter who they are,” she opined. “I do, yeah, of course. Absolutely. I think it’s healthy to gain a perspective on who you are deep down, question yourself and challenge yourself; it’s important to do that.”
“Honestly, I loved it,” the star confessed. “I didn’t mind. Especially because they weren’t talking about other people in my life for once, which was wonderful … She’s incredible and very open and she just makes me open. She’s so fun and she’s just extremely adventurous, and sometimes I just want that in my life, so I didn’t mind it. I loved it.”
Delevingne, who is open about her fluid sexuality, is currently dating singer St. Vincent. She and Gomez were inseparable at the LACMA Art + Film gala in November, and spent time together at the singer’s parents’ house ahead of Christmas.
