LOS ANGELES, Nov. 2 (UPI) — Shay Mitchell is sad but proud to say goodbye to “Pretty Little Liars.”

The 29-year-old actress, who plays Emily Fields on the Freeform series, shared an emotional farewell video to the show Tuesday after wrapping filming on Season 7 last week.

“Sad, anxious, excited, terrified, inspired, gratified, nervous, unsure, proud, upset, accomplished, relieved, devastated, lucky: I didn’t know it was possible to feel so much at once, yet I sit here with all my feelings. It feels like the last day of school with just an extra bit of emptiness,” Mitchell said.

“Our show ending is such a weird, unique thing that I have only experienced from where you all are sitting: the viewer’s side. I remember shows I watched growing up ending and all that came along with a series finale, yet where I am seated now is so different. I don’t know what my life would’ve looked like without ‘Pretty Little Liars,'” she added.

Mitchell and her co-stars, including Lucy Hale, Ashley Benson and Troian Bellisario, had shared photos Oct. 26 from their last day on set. “Pretty Little Liars” premiered in 2010 and will return for part two of its seventh and final season in 2017.

“After [the] summer finale, which is awesome and spectacular, the next ten episodes of the show are really going to be the last ten episodes of the series. We’re saying goodbye,” series creator I. Marlene King announced on Facebook Live in August.

“It’s been such an amazing chapter of our lives and we’re so glad that you guys could share it with us,” Hale added. “All good things must come to an end, and these last ten episodes are pretty crazy, so we’re going out with a bang.”

Pretty Little Liars” will return to television in April 2017.
