“Sherlock” Returns. But When Is Anything But ‘Elementary’
The BBC is promoting the new season of their wildly successful TV series “Sherlock,” but haven’t revealed much information. Fans are grasping for clues as to when the show, which stars Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman, will actually air.
Fans were elated to see Cumberbatch and Freeman pose in Victorian garb for their new promo pics from the BBC’s hit series.
The BBC released the new photo to promote an upcoming special episode, which will indeed actually take place during the Victorian era, the time period where Sir Arthur Conan Doyle actually set his detective stories.
No air date or time has been announced for the special. And for that matter, no one seems to know when season 4 begins either. But as Sherlock Holmes himself might say, “We can only deduce it might be Christmas time.”
