Dec. 13 (UPI) — Michael Che and Colin Jost are the new co-head writers for Saturday Night Live, which is now in its 43rd season.
Che and Jost became the sketch-comedy show’s “Weekend Update” co-anchors in 2014.
NBC announced Tuesday the pair were promoted to the head writers’ team led by Kent Sublette and Bryan Tucker.
Sudi Green and Fran Gillespie have been named writing supervisors.
