May 5 (UPI) — Former “The Office” stars Jenna Fischer and Rainn Wilson reunited this week.
The 43-year-old actress and 51-year-old actor, who played Pam Beesly and Dwight Schrute on the NBC series, shared a photo Thursday from their lunch date.
“‘Oh my God, Dwight’s kind of my friend!’ #officelunchdate #FriendsForever @rainnwilson,” Fischer captioned the picture on Twitter.
“Lunch with my delightfully lovely pal @MsJennaFischer! #OldFriends,” Wilson added on Instagram.
Fischer and Wilson played Pam and Dwight throughout “The Office”‘s nine-season run from 2005 to 2013. The actress confirmed in an interview with People in April that she’s open to a formal reunion or revival.
“We all have such fond memories of working together,” she said. “The opportunity to work with those people again in any capacity would be a huge yes for me.”
Fischer previously reunited with John Krasinski, who played Pam’s love interest Jim Halpert, in 2016. The actor told “Today” in December that he would love “to get the band back together.”
“Someone was asking if we’d do a Christmas special or movie or something and I said, ‘Yes, I would love to do that just to see where they are,'” he said. “Hopefully someone comes up with a really good story.”
