Weekend Box Office: Avengers Still # 1 – Hot Pursuit is Far Behind
LOS ANGELES, May 10,2015 (UPI) — The superhero ensemble picture “Avengers: Age of Ultron” is No. 1 at the North American box office, earning an additional $77.2 million during its second weekend in release, Rentrak announced Sunday.
Coming in at No. 2 for the period of May 8-10 is “Hot Pursuit” with $13.3 million
“The Age of Adaline” at No. 3 with $5.6 million
“Furious 7” is in at No. 4 with $5.3 million.
“Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2” is at No. 5 with $5.2 million.
Rounding out the top tier are “Ex Machina” at No. 6 with $3.5 million,
“Home” at No. 7 with $3 million
“Woman in Gold” at No. 8 with $1.7 million
“Cinderella” at No. 9 with $1.6 million
And “Unfriended” at No. 10 with $1.4 million.
