HOUSTON, Aug. 10 (UPI) — Wendy Williams fell off the stage during her performance Saturday in Houston.

The 51-year-old television personality took a nasty fall as she came onstage for her Sit Down Tour…Too Real for Stand Up show. Williams declared the incident “the fall that never happened” as she took the mic after her tumble.

“Number one, this is like our seventh city on this twelve-city comedy tour,” she explained. “Number two, every stage is different. I didn’t see that [expletive]. I am 12 feet tall … but you caught it, right? Did you catch my 51-year-old recovery?”

The 5-foot 11-inch Wendy Williams Show host later joked on Twitter, “Forgot it’s the ‘Sit Down Tour’ not the fall down tour. #wendywilliamstour #ouch wendywilliamstour.com.”

Williams will bring her comedy tour to a close Aug. 29 in Chicago. The television personality has hosted The Wendy Williams Show since 2008, and will return for new episodes Sept. 14.
