Aug. 8 (UPI) — Willie Nelson is canceling the remainder of his North American tour dates due to a breathing problem.

“To my fans, I’m sorry to cancel my tour, but I have a breathing problem that I need to have my doctor check out. I’ll be back,” Nelson tweeted Wednesday.

The tour was set to end Nov. 29 with a performance at the WinStar World Casino and Resort in Thackerville, Okla.

The country star was scheduled to perform in Grand Rapids, Mich., Greensboro, N.C., Saratoga Springs, N.Y., Philadelphia, Cincinnati, Stanford, Calif. and Las Vegas, among other locations. Alison Krauss was the opening act for a majority of the dates.
