LOS ANGELES, Nov. 9 (UPI) — Wilmer Valderrama was thrilled to reunite with Ashton Kutcher on “The Ranch.”

The 36-year-old actor said in an interview with E! News that it was “so touching” to work with Kutcher and fellow former “That ’70s” Show co-star Danny Masterson on the new Netflix series.

“When Ashton and Danny thought of doing the Neflix series ‘The Ranch’ they called me and said, ‘Ok, we’re putting the band back together.’ The show is very funny, but I was already locked into a number of things. So last year, they called me and asked if I just wanted to guest star and I said, ‘Hell yes, man. Let’s go,'” Valderrama recalled.

“The show has the same director, David Trainer, from 200 episodes of ‘That ’70s Show.’ So being able to be directed by him, who directed me since I was 18 years old until I was 26 and go from set to set with Danny and Ashton was so touching, so incredible,” he said.

Valderrama, Kutcher and Masterson played Fez, Kelso and Hyde on “That ’70s Show,” which had an eight-season run on Fox from 1998 to 2006. Valderrama reunited with the pair for three episodes of “The Ranch” Season 1, which premiered in October.

“They’re people that know you better than anybody and to be able to laugh together again on a set is ridiculous,” the actor shared. “Let me put it like this, we’re clowns and couldn’t go through one take together and the director had to yell at us as if we were kids again. We couldn’t get through a scene with a straight face.”

Despite the reunion, Valderrama told People in July that “Fez will never happen again.” Kutcher had previously shared similar sentiments with Entertainment Weekly, explaining, “I just don’t know that anything that we’re going to do that would be new would be better than what we did.”
