1 killed in single-vehicle rollover on Mountain View Corridor in Herriman

HERRIMAN, Utah, Dec. 16, 2022 (Gephardt Daily) — A 29-year-old man was killed in a single-vehicle crash Friday morning on Mountain View Corridor in Herriman.

Herriman Police Sgt. Josh Jennings said the rollover crash occurred about 4:30 a.m. on Mountain View Corridor near Real Vista Drive.

The male driver was alone in the vehicle at the time of the crash, Jennings said. The man was deceased when officers arrived, he said.

Jennings said the man was traveling south on Mountain View “at a high rate of speed” prior to the crash.

The highway’s southbound lanes were closed until about 10 a.m. while the South Valley CRASH team investigated the crash, police said.
