17-Year Old Girl Killed After Boyfriend Backs Over Her
MILLCREEK, UTAH – June 16, 2015 (Gephardt Daily) – A 17-year-old girl is dead after being backed over by a Ford Expedition driven by her 17 year-old boyfriend.
According to Lt. Justin Hoyal of Unified P.D., police were called to the backyard of a home at 416 East 3900 South around 6:45 p.m. When officers arrived they found the body of 17-year-old Micaela Segala.
Lt. Hoyal said the teenager had been arguing with her boyfriend prior to being backed over. He said investigators were still trying to determine if the act was intentional.
The 17-year-old driver, whose identity has yet to be released, was taken to the hospital with a shoulder injury.
