RIVERTON, Utah, Oct. 12, 2016 (Gephardt Daily) — An 18-year-old woman was flown to the hospital after a two-car crash in Riverton on Wednesday night.
Unified Police Department spokesman Lt. Brian Lohrke said the crash happened at approximately 7:30 p.m at 12600 S. 1300 West.
While the 18-year-old woman is in critical condition, the driver of the other car was not injured.
Lohrke said specific details about what caused the crash were not immediately available, and a Crash Analysis Reconstruction Team (CART) is en route to investigate the incident.
Drivers should avoid the area until at least 10 p.m. while investigators complete their work.
