CACHE COUNTY, Utah, Feb. 8, 2018 (Gephardt Daily) — A 19-year-old Cache County man has been arrested on charges including child sex abuse, officials said.
Christopher VanDam of Lewiston was arrested Thursday on charges of sex abuse of a child, sexual battery, bestiality, and multiple counts of sodomy on a child, according to a news release from the Cache County Sheriff’s Office.
Officials stated they are aware of five alleged victims between the ages of 4 and 13.
Police believe the abuse had been ongoing for several years, but investigators are still actively working on this case to gain more information.
No further details of the incidents were provided by officials.
