2.4 quake rattles rural Beaver County

BEAVER COUNTY, Utah, Dec. 8, 2024 (Gephardt Daily) — A micro earthquake, slightly larger than many that have hit the same area recently, was recorded Sunday morning in Beaver County.

The magnitude 2.4 quake was in a rural area northeast of Milford. It happened at 7:02 a.m. Sunday, and occurred at a depth of 0.2 miles beneath the surface.

As of noon Sunday, no one had reported feeling it to the US Geological Survey’s “Did you feel it” page.
