MAPLETON, UTAH – November 2, 2015 (Gephardt Daily) – The United States Geological Surveys (USGS) said a 2.9 magnitude earthquake hit near Mapleton Monday morning.
A report from the USGS shows the earthquake happened at a depth of about 1.1 km (0.68 mile), and 6 km (3.7 miles) away from Mapleton at 5:34 a.m.
No one was injured in the earthquake.
