2 Utah police departments hoping to find owners of missing rings

OGDEN/LAYTON, Utah, July 2, 2019 (Gephardt Daily) — Two Utah police departments are hoping to find the owners of two different rings, officials said Tuesday.

On Monday afternoon, Weber County Sheriff’s Office posted on Facebook: “Is this your ring??? This ring (pictured) was found in early May, during the Spike 150 Celebration. It was found in the area of Melanie Lane.

“If this ring belongs to you, please contact the Weber County Sheriff’s Office at 801-778-6656. You will need to be able to prove that this ring belongs to you in order for it to be released to you. Please share this post, we would love to find the owner as soon as possible!”

Then Tuesday at noon, Layton police tweeted: “If you lost a ring at the playground by the museum and duck pond recently, we may have it. Contact us with a description and reference incident #19-10048.” Layton Police Department can be reached by calling 801-497-8300.
