23-Year-Old Mother Dies In West Valley City Rollover

WEST VALLEY CITY, Utah, July 2, 2016 (Gephardt Daily) — A 23-year-old mother was killed after her vehicle rolled after a collision in West Valley City early Saturday morning.

West Valley City Lt. Robert Hamilton said the accident happened at 2:20 a.m. at 1500 W. 3500 South when a Toyota Corolla driven Hanna Yingling of West Valley City clipped the back end of a Ford Explorer causing her vehicle to roll.

“Our officers happened to be in the area and got there less than a minute after the the call came in,” Hamilton said.

“The woman was wearing her seat belt but had already died before our officers arrived.”

Hamilton said the Yingling appeared to be headed a family member’s house to be with her 6-year-old child.

There were several people in the Explorer who were not injured.

The accident is still under investigation and it is not known if drugs or alcohol were factors.
