28-year-old man critically injured in Murray motorcycle crash

MURRAY, Utah, July 26, 2019 (Gephardt Daily) — A 28-year-old motorcyclist is in critical condition after a crash in Murray Friday morning.

Murray Police Officer Kenny Bass told Gephardt Daily the incident occurred at approximately 8:50 a.m. when the motorcyclist was traveling north on Murray Boulevard in the area of Vine Street.

Bass said the motorcyclist was going at a high rate of speed and entered the intersection on a red light, T-boning a vehicle that was heading eastbound.

The motorcyclist, who was wearing a helmet, was transported to an area hospital by ground ambulance in critical condition.

The driver of the vehicle, who was the only occupant, was not injured.

Bass said the scene has been cleared and there are no delays in the area.
