LOA, Utah, April 4, 2016 (Gephardt Daily) — A 3.5 magnitude earthquake rattled southwest Utah Tuesday afternoon, hitting just northwest of Loa, officials said.

The quake hit 1.4 miles northwest of Loa and 30 miles south of Interstate 70 at 2:26 p.m., according to the United States Geological Survey website, and no damage or injuries were reported.

The USGS said the Loa area been impacted by over 40 minor earthquakes in the past two weeks.
