SALT LAKE CITY, Utah, Dec. 24, 2018 (Gephardt Daily) — Three men were arrested after officers say they found large quantities of stolen and fraudulent documents in a Salt Lake City hotel room that was rented using a card that was also fraudulent.

Officers were called to the Radisson Salt Lake City Airport hotel at 2177 W. North Temple St. Saturday just before 6:45 p.m., the Salt Lake City Police Department said in a news release.

“Officers were dispatched to a hotel after hotel employees discovered the occupants of room 320 had checked in using a fraudulent card and reward points,” the news release said.

There were seven occupants in the room when officers arrived.

Dallas Charon, 36, and Yutana Ekachinda, 44, were booked into jail in relation to the fraudulent booking of the room, the news release said.

Scott Memmot, 25, was arrested for probation violation and a search of his vehicle resulted in the discovery of numerous articles used to manufacture fake checks.
