CLINTON, Utah, June 24, 2018 (Gephardt Daily) — Emergency crews responded to a three-vehicle crash at 1800 North and 2000 West on Sunday evening.
Six people were transported by ground ambulance to area hospitals. Two of the injured were in critical condition, and four had minor injuries, according to information from Clinton Fire Department.
Sgt. Richard Murdock, Clinton Police Department, told Gephardt Daily the crash occurred at 7:24 p.m. when, according to witnesses, a yellow car traveling westbound on 1800 North ran through the red light.
The yellow car collided with a white pickup truck that was heading north on 2000 West. The impact caused the truck to roll.
A black SUV also was hit, and its occupants had minor injuries.
Murdock said the crash is still under investigation, but officials do not think alcohol or drugs were a factor in the collision.
Gephardt Daily will update this developing story as more information becomes available.
