SALT LAKE CITY, Dec. 25, 2015 (Gephardt Daily) — A Christmas afternoon accident at the south end of the Interstate 15 and I-215 interchange sent two people to the hospital as the result of a five-car crash.

“The cause of the crash, I think they are still investigating it, but the wet conditions I’m sure had something to do with it,” said Brad Lynn, Unified Fire Authority battalion chief.

“We did transport one to the hospital, and one went with some friends to the hospital, so we only had two patients that were being seen out of five cars. They weren’t critical, but still needed to be seen.”

The crash blocked northbound lanes for more than two hours.
