5 suspects being sought in stabbing after Millcreek party

MILLCREEK, Utah, Dec. 27, 2020 (Gephardt Daily) — Police are searching for five suspects in a stabbing that happened after a party in Millcreek Sunday morning.

The incident occurred in the area of 3900 S. 300 East at approximately 8:15 a.m.. Unified Police Department Sgt. Melody Cutler told Gephardt Daily.

“Last night the residents of the apartment had a party and there were multiple young adults passed out everywhere,” Cutler said. “This morning, four females and a male knocked on the door and made entry with bats and a knife. The victim was attacked, he was slashed across the chest, and he has non-life-threatening injuries.”

One of the female suspects was at the party Saturday night, Cutler said.

The only description of the suspects is that they are “four Black females and one Black male, who were in an SUV.”

The motive behind the stabbing is not clear at this time.
