ST. GEORGE, Utah, Dec. 9, 2018 (Gephardt Daily) — Six men were arrested in the St. George area Friday and Saturday as part of a prostitution sting.

According to probable cause statements released by the 5th District Court in St. George, Travis Jay Coleman, 46, Jay Lynn Farnsworth, 45, Franklin William Field, 49, Donald Kelley Railsback, 60, Lance Deven Mackelprang, 32, and Larin Shenah, 26, are each facing one charge of class-A misdemeanor patronizing a prostitute.

“SGPD investigators posted ads online posing as escorts offering services in St. George Friday,” the probable case statements for each man said. “A male, later identified as the A/P (accused person), made contact by phone and responded to one of those ads. During the conversation the A/P agreed to pay a specific amount of money in exchange for receiving a specific sexual act or acts. The A/P was given a specific hotel name in St. George and a specific room number to come to. The A/P came to the room and made contact with a decoy female. During contact with the decoy female the A/P handed her cash in the specific amount of money agreed to.”

The A/P was then placed under arrest. During an interview post Miranda, each man admitted to agreeing to pay a specific amount of money for specific sexual acts, the statement said.

The men were then arrested and booked into the Washington County Jail.

Each man’s bail was set at $1,950.
