4 juveniles, 4 adults injured in West Valley City crash

WEST VALLEY CITY, Utah, Sept. 30, 2018 (Gephardt Daily) — A two-vehicle crash sent eight people to the hospital early Sunday morning.

Lt. Todd Gray, West Valley City Police Department, told Gephardt Daily the accident happened at 1:29 a.m. when the vehicles, each carrying two adults and two juveniles, collided at 4360 S. 5600 West.

Gray said one person was transported to the hospital in critical condition with a concussion and possible skull fracture.

Seven others were also hurt.

None of the injuries was considered life threatening.

Gray said it’s possible that one of the drivers was intoxicated.

The accident is still under investigation.
