WEST VALLEY CITY, Utah, Jan. 28, 2021 (Gephardt Daily) — An 84-year-old man was found dead at a West Valley City golf course Wednesday.
West Valley City police officials said Richard Porath took his dogs for a walk Wednesday afternoon.
A person called dispatch to report that the dogs were found unattended at approximately 6:30 p.m.
Porath’s body was found in a lake at the golf course in the area of Lake Park Boulevard.
Officials said the death appears to have been a tragic accident and foul play is not suspected.
