ENTERPRISE, Utah, March 7, 2017 (Gephardt Daily) — A 9-year-old boy from Enterprise remains in critical condition Tuesday after the mini-motorcycle he was riding collided with a pickup truck, but his vital signs have stabilized and he is expected to survive, according to Washington County Sheriff’s Office officials.

According to a statement by the Washington County Sheriff’s Office, the accident happened at about 12:30 p.m. Monday near the 600 East block of Main Street when the child — riding a Suzuki JR50, an off-road vehicle — collided with a Ford F250 pickup truck.

The child was wearing a helmet, but was still critically injured. He was transported to a hospital by medical helicopter.

The pickup driver was a 36-year-old man, also from Enterprise. He was not injured in the accident. No charges had been filed against him as of early afternoon on Tuesday.
