WEST BOUNTIFUL, Utah, Jan. 16, 2017 (Gephardt Daily) — Northbound traffic on Interstate 15 in West Bountiful was blocked Monday morning after a fatal truck-pedestrian accident near 500 South.
According to reports, a 23-year-old man was reported to be walking on the roadway when he was struck and killed by a box truck. The truck driver was cooperating with law enforcement officials.
The man’s name has not yet been released.
Rush-hour traffic was backed up for miles as investigators responded to the scene.
