SALT LAKE CITY, Utah, July 29, 2016 (Gephardt Daily) — There were some frightening moments during Friday’s evening rush hour when a man suffering from a medical condition rolled his jeep at the top of the on ramp at Interstate 80 and 1300 East.
A spokesman for the Utah Highway Patrol told Gephardt Daily that the driver — identified only as a Bountiful resident — had prompted calls to 911 for driving erratically in the moments prior to the accident.
Troopers say the driver was bumped and bruised, but otherwise escaped injury.
The right two lanes of I-80 westbound were closed for about 90 minutes.
