Update: 3-year-old Salt Lake City girl found safe after Amber Alert issued

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah, Nov. 22, 2016 (Gephardt Daily) — A 3-year-old girl who went missing from Salt Lake City has been found safe after an Amber Alert was issued Tuesday afternoon.

The Salt Lake City Police Department tweeted at 5:40 p.m. the child and her mother were found in Hawaii, and the 3-year-old is in police custody.

The SLCPD said in a news release the child, Juliette Cuadra, was last seen Monday evening in the Murray area with her biological mother, Shantel Cuadra, 26, who did not have custodial rights and allegedly threatened to harm the child.

The involved vehicle was located approximately an hour before the two were located.
