Arizona Man Killed in Motorcycle Accident in Washington County
Utah Highway Patrol said Allen M Hintz, 67, of Congress, Arizona died at the hospital after suffering severe injuries from being thrown 15-20 feet off his Kawasaki Vulcan motorcycle when for some unknown reason he hit the median and went off the freeway.
According to investigators, Hintz was in critical condition when medical personal arrived and was taken by ambulance to Dixie Medical Center. He was later pronounced dead by medical professionals.
Hintz was wearing a three quarter helmet and the motorcycle did not appear to have experienced any major malfunctions prior to the crash.
At this time it is unknown why the rider left the freeway.
