Armed robber at SLC Little Caesars makes off with cash and a pizza

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah, Oct. 15, 2018 (Gephardt Daily) — A suspect made off with more than just cash after brandishing a weapon in a Salt Lake City Little Caesars. He also stole a pizza.

The incident occurred at the take-out pizza chain at 2100 S. 700 East just after 10:05 p.m. Saturday, the Salt Lake City Police Department said in a news release.

“A man entered the Little Caesars Pizza, brandished a weapon and demanded money and a pizza,” the news release said.

The suspect left with money and the food, and fled in an unknown direction.

He is described Caucasian, wearing a black ski-type mask, black gloves, a gray hoodie and blue jeans.

The investigation into the incident is ongoing, officials said.
