TAYLORSVILLE, Utah, March 28, 2018 (Gephardt Daily) — The Unified Police Department has released surveillance photos and video following an armed robbery at a 7-Eleven store in Taylorsville in the early hours of Saturday morning.
UPD spokesman Lt. Brian Lohrke said in a news release that Taylorsville Precinct officers received a call of a robbery at the 7-Eleven, at 3180 W. 5400 South at approximately 1:15 a.m.
One of the two suspects brandished a black semi-automatic handgun while the other suspect produced a backpack and demanded money, cigarettes and a case of beer. They then made the employees and the lone patron of the store lay on the floor as they fled with an unknown amount of money and cigarettes, and the case of beer.
Both suspects appear to be between 5 feet 10 inches and 6 feet tall, and around 200 pounds. Both were wearing black hoodies. One had a blue bandanna tied around the bottom half of his face and other was wearing sunglasses.
