Police seek suspects after armed robbery in Salt Lake City alley

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah, April 18, 2018 (Gephardt Daily) — Police are searching for two suspects after an armed robbery in an alley in Salt Lake City on Wednesday morning.

The incident occurred in the area of 960 W. 200 South at approximately 2 a.m., the Salt Lake City Police Department said in a news release.

“A man was walking through an alley when he was approached by two males,” the news release said. “One of the males had a handgun and robbed him of his backpack. The suspects then fled the area.”

The first suspect is described as a light-skinned male with a goatee, wearing a red shirt, a red hat and armed with a handgun. There is no description of the second suspect.
