Police search for suspects after armed robbery of Salt Lake City business

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah, Dec. 9, 2016 (Gephardt Daily) — Police are looking for two suspects who robbed a local business with a gun, then fled with an undisclosed amount of money Thursday evening.

A news release from the Salt Lake City Police Department said the incident occurred at approximately 7:40 p.m. when two men entered the store at 1431 W. 1000 North.

While one of the men took items and fled, the other went to the cashier and demanded money while threatening her with a gun, the news release said. The cashier complied and the second suspect then fled the store. The suspects are described as black, approximately 25 years old, 6 feet tall with medium builds.
